As an attorney, I have spent more than twenty years working with families in family law and child protection matters. After years of watching families struggle through difficult divorces, I believe that couples can divorce peacefully through mediation or collaborative divorce. Mediation and collaborative encourages couples to step out of their marriage in a private, dignified way and enables couples and children to accept and embrace a new definition of family.
Before I opened on my own law office and narrowed my focus on mediation, collaborative law and providing review counsel and consulting services, I practiced with some of Connecticut's best family law attorneys and litigators at Budlong & Budlong, Freed Marcroft and the Law Offices of Donna Buttler. I am on the board of the Connecticut Council for Non Adversarial Divorce, I'm a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association and a practicing member of the Collaborative Divorce Team of Connecticut.
