Attorney Ann Newman has spent more than twenty years working with families in family law and child protection matters. After years of watching families struggle through difficult divorces, she believe that couples can divorce peacefully through mediation or collaborative divorce. Mediation and collaborative encourages couples to step out of their marriage in a private, dignified way and enables couples and children to accept and embrace a new definition of family.
Before Ann Newman opened her own law office and narrowed my focus on mediation, collaborative law and providing review counsel and consulting services, she practiced with some of Connecticut's best family law attorneys and litigators at Budlong & Budlong, Freed Marcroft and the Law Offices of Donna Buttler. Attorney Newman is a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association and a practicing member of the Collaborative Divorce Team of Connecticut.
Attorney Newman's volunteer work includes providing legal assistance at the Women & Family Life Center and as a board member of the Connecticut Women's Golf Association.
